Welcome friends, to Elysium! Hope to see you leave one day.

In order to be successful in Elysium, we must not take for granted the protection of this realm's gods, and the existential pull of heaven on our mortal souls.

Be Respectful and Collaborative with Every God

There are many gods to meet here. Many offer aid, knowledge, gifts, protection. Some of the same make requests, bargain with us, sternly guide us. Thylea is at greater risk without the assistance and understanding of gods, so for her brightest future, we must make the most of this opportunity.

Therefore, we must protect our standing with them and prove that we are people who have the greater good at heart. We must honor and revere their power, and attempt to view the world through their lens. With this understanding, we may come to know them, and know best how to ask for their help.

Do Not Leave the Care of the Guardinals

The guardinals are magical beings who have been assigned to protect and monitor us as we traverse the realms of Elysium, and more specifically Amoria. Some are created by Mystra, and others Seker. They have been open and friendly to us, but they take their job seriously. Do not go anywhere in Elysium without them. If you are exploring Elysium, please strictly listen to their guidance in terms of how the lands of Elysium can be respected.

Respectfully Ask for What You Need from Rhydhal

Rhydhal is a cosmic dragon with amazing abilities, including the power of creation. Meet with her and ask for what you need, including food and other things.

Stay Out of Oceanus

Oceanus has been our route between the different realms of Amoria so far, but we've been upon its waters by boat. Do not go swimming in Elysium!

There is a natural pull in Elysium that we can be protected against, as Isharia and Tamara have done for us. Outside of this protection, we must be careful and swift in our goals. Improving Wisdom saves and/or hanging out within 10ft of Agni is recommended.

Use this Opportunity

Do not disappoint everyone back on the Gold Lion who cannot be here. Use this time wisely to better yourself, and honestly explore what will make you stronger. Sometimes, it will be rest, recreation, friends and family. Other times it will be education, or training, or something more difficult.

While it may feel at times peaceful here in heaven, our true peace must be earned.

What keeps Thyleans from Siga and vice versa is not simply a 30ft, hundred-handed god walking the seas.

Kentimane's Barrier

It is a force sustained by him, one that notably has obscured us from the aid of the rest of the world, including its gods.

Thylea and Kentimane were once titans of the Arborian pantheon. We've learned what Thylea and Kentimane were escaping: a war between the Arborian pantheon's gods and titans. When Thylea died and became the land that is our home, Kentimane put up the barrier to protect both of them from being pursued by the Arborians. Presumably the Arborians were too busy fighting their war to chase them, and now a long time has elapsed.

The Divine Might of "The Lost Land"

There are many unique things to the land of Thylea, but most notable is Thylea, Kentimane, and the titanic family. The titan's escape and subsequent hiding has created a scenario that is unprecedented in the material plane. The titans--and gods--of Thylea break the bounds of typical gods by existing in the material plane itself.

This suggests that Thylea is very powerful in the greater world, able to have great influence. It also suggests that our enemy is more powerful than once believed.

Other Details about the Barrier

We have learned notable things about the Barrier itself. We've learned that certain gods may be able to empower us at the edge of barrier when it is at its weakest. We've learned that the magic of the Barrier is ancient, but there are still gods out there who may advise us on how it works. We have also learned that Cephus and Cato have an attunement to the Barrier itself through their connections to Kentimane, and likely can learn to tell when it will be weakened.

We've also identified a certain entity, the Kraken, that seems to be able to penetrate the barrier frequently.

Cruelty is the way of the storm.

Here is a breakdown of what we have discovered so far about Sydon's plans.

The Oath of Peace

We have come to learn that the Oath of Peace is an agreement made between Mytros, Thylea, Lutheria, and Sydon each with a god "sponsor". The war god Tempus is sponsoring Sydon's inclusion, whereas Bahamut and Lethander sponsor Thylea and Mytros respectively. We still have not learned all the details of this agreement, as those sponsoring it are bound to not speak of its contents. We still do not know who sponsors Lutheria.

Pacts with other Gods

Sydon has formed an agreement with Primus, the Supreme Modron. It seems to be where Sydon sources some of the stranger constructs he uses, like the maruts. Since Primus is a god of logic and order, we believe that Sydon--or more likely Elion--has convinced Primus that the land of Thylea unleashed would disrupt the balance of the world, so he has agreed to ally with Sydon to "maintain order". It may also be possible that Sydon has agreed with Primus to use Modrons to bring order to the material plane.

Related to Primus and Mechanus, we have learned that Elion has somehow taken a sizeable chunk of Mystra's power. He may have used this to gain influence over Primus. Mystra is now aware of the situation and is doing her best to reach Primus, but this is something we should consider finding a solution to.

The gods are aware that Sydon has made pacts with two other gods, but Primus--as a god of contracts-- is disguising the identity of them.

Bane

However, through our discussions the past few days, we have a strong suspicion that an evil god of tyranny named Bane may be one of the gods allied with Sydon. It is a recent occurrence that Bane was imprisoned and escaped his captivity from a place called Acheron. The gods have not been able to trace him at all, which leads them to suspect that he could be under the barrier, in Thylea the land.

We suspect that Acastus and Rafael gained access to the evil dragon blood bond through Bane. We also suspect that the portals made to Hades--like the ones on Typhon--were made by Bane. Bane has many allies, including a death god named Baal, the queen of chromatic dragons Tiamut, and others.

Our strongest suspicion for the 3rd god allied with Sydon is Falazure, the evil half of the fractured dragon of death, Null.

Sydon's Need for the Barrier

It remains to be known what Sydon's ultimate goals are, but it may help to imagine Sydon's path without our interference:

After 500 years, the duration of the Oath of Peace expires. With his family subjugated, cursed, or mind controlled--including those we have already worked to revive or rescue--their power returns to their "rightful sources", siphoned away again in full by Sydon and Lutheria.

Free of the agreements holding him back, and the resistance of the Settler Gods who no longer have their powers in totality, Sydon conquers Thylea with limited divine resistance (good luck Bal!) nor its cities standing in his way. Keep in mind that without us: a mind controlled Telamok would have power over Mytros city, and a subservient to Lutheria Calliope would hold power in Aresia.

This all happens underneath the barrier, shielded from the interference of gods, including those who walk Valoria and their charges like the Guardinals.

Now having dominion of the land of Thylea, its people and its resources, Sydon continues to do what he does today: build an army. More constructs, more modrons. Control of Talos and the likely the Collossus of Mytros after the royalty of Mytros has been ousted and murdered. Like the factories we seen polluting the outer islands of Siga, Thylea itself becomes a means to Sydon's goals: to be an all-powerful god, with a composite of all of his family's power, building whatever he pleases of his mother's land, uniquely situated on the Material Plane, with a massive force of loyalists, subjugated heroes, and machines ready to do his bidding.

And then, only then, with all of his power and preparation completed, will the Barrier come down ...

"For those who follow godly paths
will rest in peace when they die"

Following list of gods we have met here, listed in chronological order of about when we met them and how we met them. I encourage you to reach out to each of these gods to learn more, as I will not do any of them justice with my descriptions.

Lady Ishtar

A goddess of love and war who has dominion in the Realm of the Star, here in Amoria, Elysium. It was her watcher's (Fiora, the Everwatcher) teleportation circle and cooperation with Damon that allowed us to travel here in the first place. She battled with us and gave us our first bits of knowledge as to Thylea's place in the greater world.

Isharia

A goddess of family who has dominion in the realm of Quietude here in Amoria, Elysium. She is a "twin goddess" of Lady Ishtar. She protected us while in Quietude. She has shared messages from gods meant for each of us individually, and has even revealed truths about ourselves and our family. We have information to share with many of you from her, as well as much of the other crew back in Thylea.

Lliira

A bard goddess of joy who met with us in Quietude. She gave us peaceful sleep and access to a place called the House of Happiness.

Tymora

A goddess of luck. She met with us in Quietude and offered access to speak to Lathander. She also blessed us with an eternal luck point.

Mielikki

A goddess of druids and one of the daughters of Sylvannus. She met with us in Quietude, empowered us druids, and connected us to the rest of her family.

Eldath

A goddess of peace who met with us in Quietude, thanks to Cephus' outreach. She is also a daughter of Sylvannus. She met with all of us to discuss our mental health, which I encourage everyone to do or continue doing.

Sylvannus

A god of nature who appears in various forms. He roams the realms of Elysium with his disciple Astralanthir, an archdruid that we met with Sylvannus' help. It is notable that he was friends to Thylea and Kentimane before their escape, and was surprised to learn that we have heard either of them speak.

Oghma

A god of knowledge and invention who met with us in Quietude. Oghma is coordinating closely with us discovering a solution for Kentimane's mind control, possibly contacting the Arborian pantheon, and other pursuits.

Lathander

A god of dawn who resides in Mt. Celestia. He met with us as we entered the Healing Glade. He is someone that works closely with Mytros as her divine superior.

Naralis Analor

A good-aligned god of death who holds dominion of half of The Healing Glade, here in Amoria, Elysium. Naralis is responsible for the safe passage of elven souls that die. He has connected us to other non-evil-aligned death gods to discuss their current obstacles and how the Ambrosia contributes to it. His watcher is his husband, named Klauss (Peacewatcher) and his cosmic dragon is named Luxe.

Tamara

A dragon goddess of life and mercy. She holds dominion of half of the Healing Glade here in Amoria, Elysium. She is the mother of Bahamut, Tiamut, Null. Along with her son, she has empowered the dragon bond of Thylea with the Platinum Concord, gifted us a lunar dragon egg, and other aid.

Bahamut

A dragon god of justice who met with us in Tamara's sanctuary. Bahamut is a god who often visits the Material Plane in multiple forms. Our group fought against his aspect as one means of proving our bonds.

Kelemvor

A neutral-aligned death god who met with us in Tamara's sanctuary. Together with Naralis and Null, Kelemvor explained to us the sacrificial nature of death gods and their current conundrum. We made individual agreements with Kelemvor in regards to the Ambrosia, as some also made with Null or Naralis.

Null

A dragon god of death, Null has fractured into two beings: Chronepsis and Falazure. We met with Chronepsis in Tamara's sanctuary. Due to her dragon mark given by Null, we believe that bonding Grasha to a dragon will help empower him and the death god collective as a result. We strongly suspect that Falazure, Null's evil fractured self, may be in a pact with Sydon.

Sehanine Moonbow

Elven goddess of dreams, secrets, mysteries. She met with us in Tamara's sanctuary in the Healing Glade. She is an aspect of the goddess Selune that then became an individual and goddess. She is a high ranking goddess in the Seldarine pantheon, of which Naralis is also and therefore reports to Sehanine.

Mystra

A goddess of magic who resides in Mechanus. She is the Mother of Magic. She is in close coordination with us to solve many problems. She is a nemesis of Bane, a caretaker of Primus. Along with other help, she has offered a divine spark to one of our heroes, which must be given when back in Thylea at the edge of Kentimane's barrier.

Peace begins with a smile

It is paramount that we show ourselves to be trusted allies of the greater good. We must position ourselves to bring peace to Valoria, and that begins with understanding its problems and promising to work towards and fight for life and happiness.

The War in Siga

We have learned more details of the conflict in Siga. The sudden rise in dracoliches, the coercion of the dragon queen of justice. We have informed the gods and Guardinals of things we know, like the factories being built by Sydon in Navajara and Esmoda of which Rei and Ramiro first informed us.

When the barrier comes down, our geographical proximity to Siga is likely to put us in immediate confrontation. We must shine a good example for dragonkind, as a fellow draconic nation. We must bring peace forward, along with our own confidence and security for all Thyleans.

Advocating for Thylea's Titans

Barring Sydon and most likely Lutheria, it is extremely important for the titanic family of Thylea to have security as well as checked power in a world without the Barrier. I am optimistic that between the presence of the Settler Gods, the possiblity of praying to those titans, and the gifts we've all been blessed with, we might establish a foundational trust between the good gods of greater Valoria and the titanic family.

We must proceed carefully in this matter to ensure the security of Thylea's people, the relative autonomy of Thylea and her children, as well as her husband Kentimane who cannot currently speak for himself.

Beyond Siga

Valoria is a grand and expansive place. There is a globe to view in Klauss' observatory. Some areas of Valoria, like the Cogspire, are technologically advanced beyond Siga and its surrounding nations.

I encourage anyone with the time and interest to respectfully work with a watcher to view different parts of the world and come to know it as a whole, so it may guide us on our path forward.

No place like home

Following is a list of new and existing priorities that we may immediately address upon our return:
